Based on “Home in House” by architect Hiroyuki Shinozaki, this installation is the form of a hut built from about 3,000 white ash timbers of 12mm width. It is situated in the historical Montrasio Arte in the Garibaldi neighborhood. The hut is made of overlapping 1/1 to 1/20 scale models of his previously designed houses. Overcoming the individuality of houses in their unique environments, this exhibit lets one have a linear experience of the universality of architectural composition and process. Inside the hut are new furniture designs by Hiromatsu Furniture, as well as displays of works by collaborating artists.

篠崎弘之建築設計事務所による個展、12ｍｍ角のアッシュ材を約3000本使って小屋を組み上げたインスタレーションをミラノサローネ2015で行いました。会場はガルバルディ地区の歴史あるモントラジオ画廊。ギャラリーの４つの展示スペースを使って、ギャラリー全体に私たちが今まで設計してきた住宅の模型を木組みではりめぐらせました。それらは1/1から1/20までのスケールで重なり合ってできてひとつの小屋になっています。それぞれ違った環境をもつ住宅という個を超えて、建築の普遍的な構成と試行を連続的に展開している展示となっています。小屋の中には広松木工の新作家具や、コラボレーションした作家たちの作品も展示されていて、スケールを横断しながら空間を体験することができます。
